About The Author

Probably one of the few authors to begin a new career at the advanced age of nearly 80, Ruth C. Howard discovered a love of writing, particularly fiction.

Most of her plots have developed from a lifetime of varied experiences and her characters from the many interesting people she has met over the years—and the ideas keep on coming.

A native of Woodstock, New York and currently a resident of Tampa, Florida. Ruth has pursued many careers throughout her 82 years, including classical singer (with leading roles at an opera house in Germany), touring throughout the US and Canada with the Robert Shaw Chorale, real estate broker/owner, bridge teacher, and a variety of others too numerous to mention.

However creative writing now takes precedence and keeps Ruth busier than she ever expected or hoped to be at an age when most people embrace retirement.
